"Alcohol does not make you fat!"

Extreme boozing for 17 years had not made me fat, but I was eating healthily and exercising very intensely.

I maintain that the consequences of drinking make you fat: eating poorly, staying up too late, missing your morning workout and maybe even breakfast.

I ignored all the 'Facebook Education' articles about the dangers of boozing and laughed at the government guidelines. As a consequence of keeping fit I believed that I rarely suffered from hangover, in retrospect: I was probably rarely sober enough to feel them.
